Whitney Germany is a lifelong resident of St. Tammany Parish and a dedicated legal professional with a passion for serving her community. Her career spans every major facet of the legal system—court administration, prosecution, civil litigation, and public defense—giving her a uniquely comprehensive perspective on justice in the 22nd Judicial District.
Whitney’s journey began in local schools and continued through Covington High School, Southeastern Louisiana University, and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she worked full-time while earning her degree at night. Her leadership roles include serving as Deputy Court Administrator, Assistant District Attorney, Civil & Litigation Attorney, and currently as an Assistant Public Defender. Whitney’s experience covers everything from managing court operations and prosecuting criminal cases to representing clients in complex civil matters and defending constitutional rights.
Her service has taken her to every corner of the district—Covington, Franklinton, Bogalusa, and Slidell—deepening her understanding of the diverse needs of the people she hopes to serve as Judge. Whitney’s peers have recognized her expertise, electing her as the Criminal Section Head of the 22nd JDC Bar Association for the past three years.
Beyond the courtroom, Whitney is devoted to her family and faith. She and her husband, Erik, have been married for 19 years and are raising three daughters in the community they love. Whitney is an active parishioner at St. Peter Catholic Church and volunteers as a “Room Mom,” youth soccer coach, and school volunteer.
Whitney Germany is running for Judge to ensure that the 22nd Judicial District Court remains a place of integrity, fairness, and efficiency. She is committed to applying the law as it is written, treating everyone with dignity, and ensuring that justice is accessible to all.
