Krewe of Dionysus is Slidell’s oldest all-male Mardi Gras krewe, established in 1985 by Northshore businessmen to bring a family-centered, old-fashioned Carnival celebration to the Camellia City. With membership levels, a signature parade, balls, and community events throughout the year, Dionysus provides timeless festivities rooted in local tradition.
