She earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, launching a distinguished legal career that began with reviewing civil cases for the Louisiana Supreme Court. Currently serving of Counsel at Blue Williams in Mandeville, Michele has spent more than two decades specializing in tax, business, estate planning, and civil litigation, even being selected by LexisNexis in 2023 to author Louisiana Business and Commercial Law. Recognized with the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico Award for her extensive volunteer work helping vulnerable families, seniors, and children with special needs, Michele actively serves on multiple local boards, including Hope House and Professional Women of St. Tammany. Alongside her husband, Christopher Gabel, she has raised a blended family of four children in the community and is running for judge to ensure an impartial, accountable judicial system that protects the rule of law without legislating from the bench.
