Tammy Nick has served as an attorney for over 26 years and is currently running for City Court Judge of East St. Tammany, where she hopes to continue her legacy of service to the community. She is an experienced litigator and is well-respected in the legal community, having earned a reputation for having integrity and for treating everyone with respect and dignity. Tammy has handled all types of cases ranging from civil cases, to criminal cases and also juvenile cases,  but her passion stems from working with juveniles and seeing positive growth in their young lives.  She is often appointed by Courts to represent those that are vulnerable and those who cannot afford to hire an attorney which over time has included children, adults and juveniles.

Tammy Nick has deep roots in the community, having lived here since 1999 and having raised her daughter here. She has been elected by her peers to serve as President of the Greater Slidell Bar Association for 2 terms in the last 26 years.  She has coached and judged high school students who participate in Mock Trial Competitions.  She has served as a Judge in competitions sponsored by the American Bar Association which brings in students from the top law schools in the country to compete against one another.  Tammy is a Member of the Louisiana Association for Justice and she is an author for the Louisiana Advocates Magazine.
